UPDATE: This maintenance is complete.
We have scheduled emergency maintenance/replacement for the UPS unit serving the SDNAP facility. The unit is failing and needs to be replaced, unfortunately the original design did not include a maintenance bypass cabinet, so we have to impact power services to the room. During the replacement this will be rectified, and a bypass circuit will be installed. This maintenance window will begin at 0600 on Saturday, July 27th, 2019.
There are (4) panels feeding the room, and during the window we will need to power down each of them. We are able to do this one-by-one, so any equipment that is redundantly configured should not see an outage/interruption, but any device that is single-corded will. Each panel is expected to be down approximately one hour while it is re-fed from another source. This source is also UPS and generator-backed, so no degradation of service will be experienced during the construction phase of the replacement.
Please forward this request to any additional personnel that are not included here, and please include me in the communication so I can get them added to the list in the future. Also, please reach out to me directly with any additional questions you may have. My team has done a thorough pass-through and verified diverse panel sources for as much gear as we can, but if you have a specific request let us know immediately and we can re-verify power connections.
