Dear colleagues,
On Thursday May 31, 2012 beginning at 8am SDSC and UCSD Facilities staff will replace a faulty breaker in the power distribution system that feeds your equipment. We recommend that your systems are shutdown before 8am. In parallel extensive diagnostics will be performed on UPS and electrical components to verify stability prior to re-energizing the system. If the power infrastructure is deemed unstable, alternate arrangements will be made during the maintenance window to re-power your systems from another distribution system. A notification will be sent to you once the maintenance is complete.
