NFS outage to be complete at 8 AM

6:44 AM US/Pacific The migration of files from UFS to ZFS file systems is complete, and most services are expected to be restored by about 8 AM.

Reminder: SDSC NFS outage Dec. 27 9 PM to Dec. 28 9 AM

This is a reminder of the 12 hour long NFS outage for SDSC workstations that begins on Tuesday, December 27, at 9 PM and is expected to be complete the next morning, Wednesday December 28, at 9 AM.  Many services, including web servers and incoming e-mail, will be unavailable during this time. UCSD/SDSC Maintenance Notification, 6:00am 12/20 and 12/22, Edge Routers

At 6:00am on December 20th and 6:00am December 22nd critical patches will be applied to the Juniper MX960 edge routers. Network/Power Interruptions reported, 12/1/11

There are numerous outages to various LA/Riverside CSU and community  colleges due to power outages caused by the high winds in the Southern California regions.  We expect more outages as the winds move south into San Diego and Imperial county.
