[update – 22:57] Storage and network engineers continue to work on the switches which connect the Universal Scale Storage service. The maintenance on this switch group will run beyond 23:00 and is expected to be resolved by 01:00, 10 Oct 2018
[update – 22:36] Network engineers are continuing to perform link upgrades so some brief network outages may continue.
Between 19:00 and 23:00 on Tuesday, 9 October 2018, SDSC will perform physical link moves of edge network equipment which will cause brief network outages. This maintenance is a follow up from the 12 Sept 2018 and will involve connecting top-of-rack switches and direct-core links into the newly installed hardware.
This maintenance will also affect SDSC office connections while the individual floor switches are migrated.
