(Update 09:40, 19 Nov) Crews repaired the two largest broken fiber bundles last night between 20:00 and 23:30. All severed links should be operational — please contact SDSC Operations if you continue to notice connection issues.
(Update 16:48) Crews continue to work to repair the largest broken fiber with an anticipated completion of 01:00 on Tuesday, Nov 19. Other fiber bundles restoration times will be posted later.
(Update: 10:51) SDSC engineers have confirmed there is a fiber cut due to campus construction.

A network connection between SDSC and UCSD is down. SDSC datacenter colocated systems are still online as there is a redundant path to campus and Internet destinations.
SDSC has received word from off-site customers with direct fiber-optic connections to the SDSC building that some of those links are down as well.
UCSD and SDSC engineers are investigating — more information will be posted here.
